NIW 140 批准后的问题

I submitted my I485 before October, 2005. Now I am working in a company by using my H1b, I have the following questions:

1. If I get lay off, my H1b is invalidated, and I haven't applied for my EAD, can I still stay in US legally after I lose my job?


2. If I get a new job in the same scope of my old job after three or six months, can my I485 possibly be denied because of the three or six months gap period?

3. If I get lay off, and my H1b is invalidated, but I apply for my EAD and get a new job eventually by using my EAD, can I change my EAD back to H1b later? Since people say H1b is more secure than EAD during I485 pending period.
