Help: H1-transfer is denied because of the gap

I was fired, but I found a new job.H1-transfer will need a month. Next January, I will start my new job. Does anyone know that H1-transfer is denied because of the gap and file the H1 transfer with the last paycheck? My I-485 is pending, no EAD.
