I was told there are two types of J1. One is: J1 holders need to go back to home contry to work 2 years. If not, he should apply for "waive". Another is: J1 holders need not "waive". Is this right?
When I came to USA, my visa is J1. I changed it into F1. I performed and finished "waive". My OPT will be due soon. If I can not get H1 and only get another J1 due to tight time, should I perform "waive" again? Or can I get a J1 and need not "waive" if possible?
I am afraid I will have troubles due to changes in my visa.
Happy Thanksgiving.
