请各位明白人指点迷津：有工卡以后还怕layoff吗？

如果工卡批准了以后被layoff，还可以留在美国继续找工作吗？找到工作以后，还需要申请H1吗？还是直接就可以工作了？以前申请的工卡在换了雇主以后还有效吗？不好意思，对于美国移民一窍不通，还请大侠们不吝赐教。
