Yes, you can do that. I don't understand your meaning of "next time", what "next time" will be? Before your visa expiration date? Your kid's immigrant visa also has the same expiration date as yours. If he/she doesn't land before that date, his/her immigrant status will be invalid.You have to re-apply for his immigration before he can be admitted "next time". If you are going to go to Canada agian before expiration date, wouldn't be simple and easy if your whole family land together?
