H4 I-94 expired..HELP!!!

H1 will expire on March 31 2006, but H4 came in from Las Angels last year and the officer stamped on I-94 with valid date to Jan 2005. did it mean H4 already expired? we just found out and someone told us H4 already illegal.....

anyone has experience? what should we do?
