10月1日前递交的I－485，但USCIS的Receipt

I filed I-140 & I-485 at the same date--September 26. My I-140 check was cashed on September 29th, but I-485 check was cashed today. I checked USCIS website and found my I-485 recept date was indicated as October 7. That means filing before October 1st doesn't guarantee the receipt date before October 1st. My application was filed to VSC.

Copy from USCIS website:
"Your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status was received on October 7, 2005."

Does anybody have similar situation and explanation on this?
