But after using EAD to work, can I still apply for H-1B?

How risky could it be if I re-enter US with AP/OPT/AOS, without EAD?

I don't want to apply EAD (already got OPT), since I don't know if I can still apply H-1 holding EAD. And they said using showing EAD at en-entering to VO will void pending H-1B application.
