How to register a company

My family is currently runing a quite big company at China. We want to sell our products in the USA. I am H-1 visa. Can I register a company? If not, can we register a branch office by our mother company, and the company hire me as a manager? Do you know how to get licence for the safety products? We are not Tai-zi-dang. We are farmer-running company (Xiang-Zheng-Xie-Ye). Appreciate it for any useful information.
