For a new H1 that you mentioned, you have to go back to China and stay there for at least one year. Then you are qualified to apply for a new H1 (with 6 years ) again. You can't just start a new H1 with a 6 year maximum without leaving U.S. Otherwise, what's that 6 year maximum restriction for? You are smart, but INS is not stupid.
