Not bad for a postdoc

In my area, 1 bedroom apt is around 875-1000, 2 bedroom apt is around 1000-1300. Th first year salary for a postdoc is around 28000 - 32000.
So your offer is not bad. Postdoc is only a temporary job, you can't make much money on it.By the way, I am also a postdoc.
