Heard the news on 9/15 from my best friend, but still attended conference on 9/15 and 9/16. Encouraged by my best friend and others again. Sent request for reference on 9/16-21. 9/18, 19 prepared documents for birth and marriage certificates in China. Made appointment for medical exam on 9/21. 9/24 medical exam ready. 9/26 certificates received. 9/26-27 reference letter arrived. 9/28 a package of 6 pounds (140, 485, 765, a family of three).
