No, you don't pay tax

If they are your personal items, you don't pay tax. I shipped my stuff to Toronto via UPS ground and was not asked for import tax. One exception, if you buy some very expensive stuff from overseas, even from US, you need to pay tax on it. For example, brand new cars or jewels.
