Once your hu*****and start LC application, he got a PD and his H-1 and your H-4 can be renewed once a year beyond 6 years until you got your GC approved/ denied.

But you need to find a job and start your own application to be back up for your family. it might be a long waiting game and you don't know what is going to happen even his job looks stable right now.
