whether you can file ur 485 next month or thereafter is depended on whether ur PD is before the published cut-off date, which is 10/1/00 for October. For example, if ur PD is 1999 you are fine. If ur PD is 2002, you have to wait until the published cut_off data moves to 2002 or after
