About address on the check

Can I pay by check with a different address?

I just move to a new address, and I will use my check with the previous address to pay the I-140 and I-485. Can you tell me if it is OK?

Obviously, the address on the check is not the same with my curret address. Is it illegal? Can I pay it with my previous check?
