TN 签证在美国工作有什么限制？

因为最近绿卡大排期的问题，想申请加拿大绿卡。问了律师，律师不知道是想拉我这个生意还是什么，告诉我TN在美国工作没有限制，但是我记得好像有限制的，没有像他说得这么简单的。
请大家教我，如果拿到了加拿大公民有什么缺点呢？比如，tn签证很难得到，不能直接申请绿卡。。。 因为，最后还是想呆在美国的。
