请教假博士，法居士等DX，有关转身份的问题

I am a full time student with H-1 visa now, but I was a J-1, right now still waiting for waiver.
my first question is, If I got married - boyfriend has citizenship, can I quit school? because I am a mom tobe, will have trouble be full time next semester.
secondly, if we got married, could I try to apply green card or I should wait for waiver first? in the meantime, do I need to maintain full time student statu?
Any information is greatly appreciated!
