bad effect? if 485 rejected

I 'm trying to file 140 in the catagory EB1a together with 485 before Oct.1st, since this application will not be well prepared, there is high chance to be rejected, if 140 get rejected, then the 485 should be rejected, I was wondering if recection of this 485 will have bad effect on my NIW application which will be well prepared after Oct.1st Someone said that you will have big trouble in your next application even in other catagory such as NIW if you have ever been rejected with 485
