on the same boat?

I am in CA center. My hu*****and has got his green card 5 months ago, mine is still pending (EB1, he is the primary appliant). Is there any one on the same boat? I heard that the 排期 won't affect my case, because as a dependent, my case won't 占名额, is it true? Thanks.
