I got my I-797 welcome notice yesterday from NSC. I had asked for an interview at local office at Oct.10, 2004. The officer said he would submit I-797 form to NSC.
The receitt date: Nov.16, 2004. Notice date: Sept. 7, 2005. The delay is because of backlog.
