EAD working field restriction?

My I-140 (NIW) approved when I was a student(no job). Now I am I-485 pending. Could I use my EAD to work at any field or only in the research (my I-140 application is based on my research). I want to apply residency in some hospitals. If I work as physician with my EAD, is this dangrous for my I-485 application?
