File I485 immediately for your hun*****and, or you have to do follow-to-jion in Guanzhou, it will take more a year. Don't worry, consult your attorney.
It might be still ok as only a monthly. My hun*****and file 485 after I got my green card, it takes him 3 mon to get his green card. My I140 amd 485 got approval at same time, while he keeps his F1 all the time.
