Don't worry, my parents landed

in SF. They have only one-way tickets. The immigration officer asked them to go to a special office at airport together with somebody with all kinds of problems on visa and passport. Over there another person asked them some questions like who are you visiting, how long has he been here, blah, blah, and checked the computer, and then still gave them half year to stay in US and let them go. It seems they dislike that you have only one-way ticket but won't in general really do anything.
