Wired thing about I485

I submitted my I 485 along with my wife this may to Vermont center. Today I checked online status and found out my case was approved, while my wife's status still not changed? what does that mean? I did current filling and have I 140 approved yesterday. I guess that after I 140 was approved, they took out and eximined my I 485 application, but why wasn't my wife's case not touched? What does it mean? Did anyone have the similar situation.
