这是140/485 concurrent filling吗?

律师告诉我先file 140,拿到收据再file 485.我问这是concurrent filing吗?他告诉我是。我不知道这和140/485一起交上去有什么不同？律师说是为了不引起混乱。谁能给说说吗？总觉得怪怪的
