It will depend on which CPB your hu*****and meet when he comes cross the board. If the CPB check the dates (AP approve date with your hu*****and departure date) very carefully it could cost trouble resulting in your hu*****and being refused entry USA. I had that experience (a little different) and it did cost me many trouble. Those days, CPBs are very serious.
