job change after filing I485?

I filed for I485 after I140 approval based on employment. By now it has been more than 6 months and finger prints were taken and is waiting for "name checking".

My question is: can I change job? Can I change into a job irrelavant to the field used for I140? Can I become an unemployed?

I appreicate your input.
