要递140+485，两人的，请教

我是H1B,老公是H4,我们准备一起递交140+485，老公要申请EAD但不想申请AP,可以只申请EAD吗？我可以不申请EAD和AP吗？还是我们必须都申请？这几天忙得晕头转向，好糊涂！请您帮忙解答一下，谢谢！
