FP appointment question

I and my wife received the notice the FP is scheduled on August 16,2005, 6:00pm However, my wife is in China at present and I will travel to china too during that time. I wonder whether any of you had experience dealing with re-schedule\ with INS about FP. I-140 and I-485 submitted on 02/2005, I-140 approved 05/2005 at TSC
