When I did my first FP at NSC in August, 2004, there is no code number on the notice. It only said finger print. When I got the second notice in May this year, it was code 2 and it also said Biometrics. Boimetrics include your picture and signature. They took one finger print (I remembered it is right index) at the end. I guess it is used to confirm that you are the right person.
