Question about OPT/F1 Please

One question about my OPT and F1 please.

I am now holding F1 visa and on OPT peroid. My OPT will be expired on June 2004. I plan to go back to school next Fall (around September 2004) if I can not find a job. My question is: will my immigration status be legal during the months between June and September, which are the months after my OPT expiring and before my returning to school.
