You need to be concise

on your material. Especially on what is needed by the CIS. Don't list everything because it make them believe you only have done messy little stuff. Instead, concentrate on one or two major achievements, and how they are compared with other people's work, like you have solved a big problem, and how important impact they have to your field, and how you are regarded in your field, etc. Emphasize the skills that you have which is not commonly available by your colleagues.
