小孩回国怎么处理签证/护照？

小孩在美国出生，不到一岁，还没来得及办护照。本人没绿卡。我要回国出差一段时间，不知道小孩的护照办那边比较好。办中国护照回美国的时候要签证，办美国护照回中国要签证，可不可以两种护照都办呢？听说美国承认这种情况的双重国籍。
