H1 Visa Application

Has anyone obtained H1-B visa recently? I know the US Consulate has started to issue 1 year multi-entry visas to certain applicants, but I am not sure if this new policy applies to H1B applicants. I need to be on multiple business trips and personal trips this year, and I want to find out if I can receive 1 year multi-entry H1 visa.
