Thank U! My friend got B1/B2

visa in Beijing already. His trip is not 探亲 but just visit his friend in US. He told VO he will visit US for 2 weeks just like he had been US 3 years ago (2 weeks only). The question is he wants to stay US longer this time but he is not sure how to talk to 边检 when they ask him how long he will be in US. He should tell them the truth (1-3 months) or tell them 2,3 weeks only? I know 探亲给6个月的很常见, but I'm not sure his case belongs to 探亲also?
