Don't pay.

it's your fault that you did not notify them 2 month in advace. but, what the f@uck. don't pay it. Immigration Service has nothing to do with your credit history. There is nothing they can do to you.
I was in the similar situation 3 years ago. now they still keep sending me mail to colloect money.
