If you have a job offer and your employer will apply work permit for you, why don't you go for it first? Meanwhile, notice Buffalo your address change.

Actually, living in Canada maybe better than living in US if you have a job. Less stress, better welfare, only 3 more years to get citizenship, less terr threaten with Canadian passport.
