请问群里的老师，孩子有绿卡，准备去德国上大学。这种情况受不受离美不超过六个月的限制？如果受限制，需要办回美证吗？

-Yes, your child needs to apply for reentry permit to travel, which allows him/her stay abroad for > one year < two years. He/she can come back to US to renew the reentry permit before it expires.
