请教8老师，5岁小孩， 随母亲在加拿大， 父亲在美国-绿卡；如果父亲给小孩办绿卡，但小孩肯定会两边跑/住。

我的问题是：
1）这样小孩的绿卡后面会不会被取消？有没有规定，小小孩可以放宽境内住的时间要求， 比如12岁以前。
-The child can not stay outside US for > one year continuously unless he/she has reentry permit. By the way, it is possible there is some trouble at the port of entry if the child goes back and forth between US and Canada too often. Explain to the IO at the port of entry if they ask why the child goes back and forth too often, and maybe it will be OK because the child needs to visit both parents, anyway (adults can not travel like that). .

2）如果有过绿卡被取消的记录， 对以后再次申请绿卡有怎样的影响？
-Not affect.

3）美国加拿大之间， 陆路无出入境记录，是否可以认为时间不会是个问题？
-It will be recorded in the system for every entry and departure.
