presure, I could not pass health check up. So I went to countryside of Beijing for re-education for 3 years. Each year, I made 80 yuan. I worked hard and dreamed one day I would be choosen to go to universities. But dream never came true until I had a chance to take college entrance exams in 1977 like everbody else here. Since at that time, physics was hot, I wanted to go to Peking University's Physics Department. But they only accepted people who scored at least 340points. While I only got 320 points something. So I went to another university and ended my 3 year countryside life.
