我还只看了日本和香港部分,对作者的态度还没太多发言权。
日本部分我没感觉到任何问题。
香港吗,情妇二字用得太多,从头到尾。不知道后面写其他国家会如何。
从两个作者长期生活工作在香港的背景介绍来看,应该不止是读八卦杂志那么简单,这种背景不至于贬低非欧美消费者。至少就我读到的部分,还没看到有对欧美消费者的赞扬之词。

Paul Hu*****and is one of Asia’s leading retail centre planning and development consultants. He arrived in Hong Kong in 1988 and began his career as marketing manager for Pacific Place often referred to as the region’s most successful retail centre. Paul and his company work with clients in Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, China, Korea, India, the Philippines, and Thailand, and publish an annual report on the growth of luxury brands in China. Paul is an Asian faculty member of the International Council of Shopping Centres and a member of the Washington-based Urban Land Institute. He lives in Hong Kong with his wife and a large walk-in closet.
