In HK, we paid more than $130k a month for a long term stay hotel room less than 700sq.

Even in San Francisco, I could rent a bigger place with that much of money. I couldn't find a decent reason why the rent and price of property in HK are so expensive.


There are so many apartments all over HK. Everywhere you see, there are millions and millions of buildings. Sometime I am wondering if all the house is really worth the value. Even a very small apartment in not so good area could be sold for more than 2 million. Anyway, I have travelled to many countries and I have bought a few properties in US, I really think HK house price is over valued even after the price drop a lot recently.

I will choose to go to US to work after one or two years, I didn't want other people not like HK. I just express my opinion. I don't like this place that much.
