This is Wall Street Standard for expat a director or higher with family of 4 to HK: (all in USD):

Housing:
15K-20K x 12 = 180K - 240K

International School: include bus fair and debenture:
20K x 2 (kids) = 40K

Club Membership:depend on which club,
range from: 250/month to 2000/month

Home Leave: 1 to 2 business class trips for family of 4:
5Kx4 = 20K

Cost of living adjustment: depend of where u come from, if NY, this amount usually equals to the amount company deducate for your home country housing.

Global Expat insurance: expensive, depend on the size of the company, no detail #s.

You lose when company tax equalize you to U.S. tax rate.

These are the big ticket items I can think of. HK is expensive if you want quality stuff, live the way like U.S..

On the other hand, living the normal HK way can be cheap. Food from the Wet market can be as cheap as Shanghai.

Maid cost 3500HKD/month for foreign workers, 8KHKD - 12K for Cantonese maid.
