Brain MRI and cervical spine MRI to rule out dissection and disc

Three possibilities:

1. Over-extending the neck could cause dissection of large veseels in th neck (vertebral and/or carotid artery), whicj leads to stroke in the cerebellum,

2. Even a mild trauma, could cause acute disc herniation or protrusion,

3. Just muscle strains, use of Ibuprofen or tylenol could reduce some pain.
