Do you really know the actual rate? No. and you will never know.

Do you know that when you admitted to hospital here, they will do swab to see if you have MRSA? if you have diarrhea, you will swab for C.diff? Any those checks in China, NO.

It is so easy to get antibiotics over the counter, so people do self diagnosis all the time, like my mom, she uses antibiotics for everything, mouthache, headache, running nose, cough.....; she would not listen to me anyway.

with antibiotics so largely abused all over the country, I am sure the resistant is sky high. But we used to pollution, so unless there is severe infection, our body alrealy build a good immune defence, maybe that is why we have so less allergies there. or at least, we do not pay attention to them when we have it.

I did not, I had hives for at least over ten years when I was in China, always treated symptomatically, never thought about allergy, and it disappeared after. I am sure those things happen all the times, our people are born to be strong and tought to be strong.
