This is because you

have stainless boiling pots made of cheap stainless steels. This corrision will happen if its chromium level is too low.

If you have a pot made of a premium food grade stainless steel, you won't see rusts as the "rust" (film - Chromium oxide) on stainless steel is clear and invisible.
