about H1b work

Now, I am working for university as a postdoc and also working for a company as a consultant. The university and company have a cooperated project. They both pay me. My H1b is sponsored by university. Do i have any trouble for I485 petition? Somebody says that one H1b can only work for one employer. Does the consultant is a work? I appreciate your kind advice!
