Any sharing experience is greatly appreciated.
I was laid off on Oct 28. My employer noticed INS at that day. In order to keep legal status, I send F1 application on Nov 7. I got my vacation paycheck on Nov. 15. Now, I got an 3-6 month contract offer. How should I deal with my status? should or can I apply a new H1B visa or transfer my old H1B?
