I submitted application for H1b extension (university job) on 2/14/05.The extension is actually same as new petition in terms of LC certificate and forms. I got a notice from USCIS-vermont. Received date is 2/18/05 and notice date is 2/23/05. Approved date is 3/31/05.
It took about 1.5 months to get it approved from submission.
